They aren't the best pics...I really need to figure out how everyone posts such beautiful pictures. They must have a really big scanner. Anyway, this is the double page layout I did for my newest cousin, Ryker Alexander. It still feels to me like it needs something so let me know if you have any suggestions!

 

a breakthrough

So, I've been lacking in inspiration lately and haven't been able to scrap anything. But the other day I took some of my b-day money and headed off to JoAnn Fabrics. I managed to spend $80 (which is about the average everytime I go there, unfortunately) and prayed it would break me outta this funk. I mean, I've only been scrapping for 2 months, how could I already have "scrapper's block"? After sitting at my desk, staring at my pics & supplies for about 5 hours, I finally had a break through. I started a layout about my new cousin, Ryker and it's super cute! But now I'm stuck...again. It needs something and as soon as I figure it out, I'll post pics. Fingers crossed!

birthday lameness

So, today is my 29th birthday and I'm super depressed. No plans with my friends, no bf anymore and no one reading my blog. 2009 has really kinda sucked all around but I'm determined to make 2010 better!

Cupcake love!

So I've recently realized that I'm totally in l o v e with cupcakes...what is that about?! I don't mean just edible cupcakes, I also mean all the cute little cupcakey embellishments. I like them so much that I made my first card the other day & it was a birthday card for my dad. I made it with my new cupcake stamp set from Joann Fabrics. It's a little girly but I don't care, I just really wanted to make it & his birthday was the next one coming up (besides mine, anyway).

These are the tattoos Paul & I got when we went on vacation to New Orleans in October of '08. I later added a pull tab to the top of the page explaining that the tattoo on the left is mine, a voodoo doll and the one on the right is Paul's, a chicken foot.

This is a picture a friend took of me a few years ago. It's definitely one of my favorites of all time!

Fleischer Album

This is an 8x8 gift album I did for a friend of mine, it's all about his recently departed dog, Fleischer. I actually have added details to these pages after taking pics of them but you get the idea.

Just gettin' started

I started scrapbooking about a month ago &a I love searching sites for inspiration. I figured that since I'm new at scrapping I could post the pages I've done & maybe I could help inspire someone else or even get some comments or suggestions from the more seasoned pros out there. Currently I'm working on 4 albums. I know, 4 albums seems like a crazy task for a new scrapper but I LOVE to take pictures & have so much catching up to do!

Here are the first few pages I did for my Remy album. They aren't the best pics but it's what I have for now.
