A mess

I'm trying to make my Valentine's Day card and my sentiment stamp has disappeared! I literally just set it out on my work station, finished up my last card, went to pick it up and it's gone! Did it stick to something I threw away, did it full off the table and my dog ran away with it?! AH! Has anyone else had this happen? I feel like when it comes to scrapbooking, I'm as much of a mess as my work station...
